errors in call Transaction

Hi,

Iam trying to creating material using call transaction, if I run in foreground its working fine, but when I run in background it's not creating and showing following error in spool.

A00341Runtime error RAISE_EXCEPTION has occurred

code iam using - CALL TRANSACTION 'MM01' USING bdcdata MODE 'N' MESSAGES INTO xbdcmsgcoll.

you should give exception details in transaction ST22 to learn, why raised.

whats in the table xbdcmsgcoll? It should tell you if the error messages of the call transaction.

Specify the UPDATE('A','S' or 'L') command addition of your CALL TRANSACTION statement and then try once again.

CALL TRANSACTION 'MM01' USING bdcdata MODE 'N' <b>UPDATE 'S'</b> MESSAGES INTO xbdcmsgcoll.

CALL TRANSACTION 'MM01' USING bdcdata MODE 'N' UPDATE 'S' MESSAGES INTO MESSTAB.

WHENEVER UR WORKING WITH CALL TRANSACTION IN ACK GROUND YOU SHOULD SPECIFY THE AUTOMATIC "INSERT" OPTION IN PROGRAM
