Error with L_TO_CREATE_SINGLE

Hi experts,

I was using L_TO_CREATE_SINGLE and exception ERROR_MESSAGE = 35 is being raised which is caused by this line of code.

SELECT * FROM T377 INTO TABLE LT_T377

           WHERE SERAIL = LFP-SERAIL.

LFP-SERAIL is initial. This is the first time I encountered SY-SUBRC = 4 in this select statement.

Does anyone have encountered this error before?
