Error while executing Smartforms

Hi Folks,

I am getting the following error on executing Smartfrom for particular invoice doucument ie

"Table INFO_REFERENZ_AUFTRAG does not fit into window"

message no. SSFCOMPOSER173.

INFO_REFERENZ_AUFTRAG is the template declared in the smartform.

hi gopal,

Welcome to sdn.

it is due to the window size problem.just check whether your template fits into the window correctly by using the syntax check.i think you need to increase the window size so that it will hold the template without any issue..

Hey Vijay. You may wanna check out the page format on the SF, i mean, if it's landscape or portrait, it may be affecting the template format you ar using.

Also, use the form painter to make sure the format fits the page.

Hi Folks,

Thanks for reply. The error is comming for a particular document only.

If the problem is with the size of window and template I think it should come for all the doucments. Is my assumtion is correct?

Hi Vijay,

In the print parameters for the billing document output, for the output type in question, check the output device. If document is set to print on an old dot matrix printers, you may get this error.

Check the configuration in V/40 & VP01.

Efectively, may be some documens result in error, an another doesn't. It's couse the content have some more lines in some documents, and then, it doesn't fit in window.

Y suggest to temporary delete any other window (diferent from such of problem) and expand it to its maximum size on page... If no errors, reduce progresively, adding missing windows, attempting to find the minimum size that problem doesn't occurs for any document. Alternatively, change the layout of your smartform, ensuring an adecuate breacking of pages.
