Hi,

When I use the function module HTTP_POST and give necessary details, I get an exception COMMUNICATION_FAILURE and message Illegal destination type 'G'.

What possibly could be the problem?

Please help.

Thanks,

Hi,

Check the Following Condition.

1 ) May be Because of User name Password.

2) Run that SICF TCODE - > click on Client and go to Proxy setting

Now Check ur proxy Settings

3) The URL specified in the scenario customizing points to a non-existent host or port. Check that the

URL is valid.

4) The HTTP server specified in the URL is not running. Start the HTTP server if it is not running.
