Error when using BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE to create fixed assets

Hi Experts,

Im getting error 'Correction to ordinary dep. greater than acc. dep. in area XX)' when trying to create fixed asset using

BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE.But Im able to create successfully when posting the same values to AS91 or when using standard batch input method using LSMW.

My requirement recommends using BAPI to upload fixed assets.

Please tell me where it is going wrong.

Problem resolved.

I forgot to specify depreciation start date.Because of this, it was throwing that error.

thanks for the quick response.

It is successfully posting for other depreciation area, out of 7 three dep areas getting this error.
