Error when sending mail 'Object_not_sent'

Hello Gurus,

I have a problem that sends mail. For most users, it works fine except for 1 of them. The other mails are sent correctly.

The exception 'OBJECT_NOT_SENT' is raised.

Any one having an idea what the problem could be?

THe user has a mail address configured as the other mail receivers.

Have you checked the Dump Analysis in ST22 ?

Hello,

I have checked ST22 and there is nothing registered.

Even in SU53 nothing is registered.

Check the recipient Type. Compare with other recipient type (Sucess Mail sent).

ask basis administrator to check user master record for this user.The allowed communication type assigned to him..

go to SU01 and compare communication method of this user with those receiving the email..If you dont have authorization for SU01 contact basis.

I checked SU01 and everything is OK.

After some hours of debugging I found out that FM SO_ADDRESS_GET is behaving abnormaly. The first time it is ran, it does get the correct data, but afterwards it is OK. And thus the first user to be mailed in the list always get an error and the rest goes fine. It is not related to user profile but some bizare bug in the FM.

I continued the investigation and found out that there is a view from which data is being obtained and there are 2 records that exists. The first one is retrieved first and the 2nd one for the next times. That's y we always get the good data the second and other times.

I'm closing this thread and thank you to everyone for their help.
