Hi.

When I send mail by sapconnect the system send to me a error XS751 (Message at node SMTP cannot be bypassed at present due to connection error) or XS816 (Message at node SMTP can definitively not be bypassed due to connection error)

I have a release 640 and I check the note 629966 but this note not applicate for this release. Too I applicate the note 510969(Reorganization of external send operations), but I have the same error.

Do you have any idea how i can resolve this problem?

Regards

Hi,

In SCOT, if u have SMTP node, double click on it and set the <b>node in use</b> check box, populate the host name with server name and port no with 25(normally mail servers have this port no). Then click on internet and set address area as *, output format for SAP Documents as SAPScript/Smartform - PDF, ABAP List - HTM, Business obj link - HTM, RAW Text - TXT.

then try executing.. it might work.. as this is the settings i have done and am able to send mails..

the error u have specified corresponds to the host name and port no u have specified for smtp. contact ur network admin to get the server name and put it in the host name. sometimes the server u r trying to use might be blocked to receives mails from SAP.

try out..

regards,

Pradhiba
