Error message not picking properly in background

Hello,

I am calling ME52 using BDC_INSERT. While saving the information it gives an error in foreground. When i see log information in sm35, i get "No posting object defined for 1234/ / PUR 888 " . But while executing the same in background i get the error message but it does not have all the information. i get "No posting object defined for 1234/ / " . PUR 888 is missing.

I am using version 4.6C.

Kindly help me.

The reason why you are not getting this message in background is because of SPRO settings. Go to SPRO -> Message Control -> Check their BDC settings.
