Hi All,

I have encountered an error message, GR627 (File could not be opened) while trying to import a profit center hierarchy from a .txt file that i managed to export to my desktop from another client.

Any idea how to get around this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Check if the file exists in the system before you upload it..

Thanks,

I think this message says that it is trying to open a file for output in the application server, not the desktop.

Does this mean that I can't import/export a profit center hierarchy?

What transaction are you using?

I used transaction KCH3 to import the file and transaction KCH2 to export.

Did you check the "presentation server" checkbox when you exported it?

When I tried doing the export and import, I had no problem. Are you using the same filename for both?

Yep, very sure its the same file that I exported from the other client.

Just tried again. Still hit the same error.

Well, is there another way to get it from one client to another without using transport?

Thanks for all your help!
