error in using GUI_DOWNLOAD

Hi !!

I am accessing my Module Pool program in web browser as a .dll file .

I am using the function GUI_DOWNLOAD to save internal data in a text file.

However It is working fine in SAP , when i run the program in a web browser

it gives me error .

Kindly Help !!!!

GUI_DOWNLOAD cannot be used for browser based ,it is only for GUI

check this class CL_WD_RUNTIME_SERVICES and method ATTACH_FILE_TO_RESPONSE

I am not able to find the class CL_WD_RUNTIME_SERVICES

I am working in 4.7 not in ECC 6.0 .

can it be the issue ?? can u advice any alternate option for 4.7 ?

which can save internal table data to local file without using SAP GUI ?

Hi,

I never face such type of issue. I don't know the alternative for CL_WD_RUNTIME_SERVICES.

But i searched some help for you.

Actually your problem is displaying binary file from SAP GUI. Please go through these links.

Thanks for help , but my problem is I am working in 4.7

and not able to access any of the Web Dynpro Environment classes like

CL_WD_RUNTIME_SERVICES

Any other suggestions ??
