error in lsmw

Hi,

when i'm transferring data through direct input there is an error message on step thirteen of LSMW ' the system could not open sequential file /usr/sap/DEV/SYS/global/ZLSMW1_Z.'.though i've defined the logical path and file in t-code FILE.

it's urgent.

just check out it on 13 th step, dat u have performed in it or try to watch d whole process.

Hi rajul,

go 'specify file' step and change the imported data file name, it is end with .lsmw.read

and change also converted data file name. This may solve. Because the file name may too long.
