Error in lsmw

hi,

i am using batch input recording in the lsmw,when i am recording ,in the select views after selecting some the if i press pagedown,it will go and select the otherviews,But while i am loading the data views are not selectingautomatically,is there any other way to do this,

Hi Ram

Are you referring to material master views???

In that case, i would recommend you to use BAPI.

Try by exploring BAPIMATERIALSAVE*REPLICA.

Am not on SAP now to provide you the exact BAPI.

Main problem that i would say is the number of views available for different material types can vary and controlling these sort of stuff via BDC can be troublesome.

Hi,

If you want to update material master data, or change it use the Function Module

BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA.

This is used For You use this method to create new material master data or to change existing material master data. The data on a material can be transferred for each call.

hi,

Don't use the recording method in the case of different views. process will become very much difficult so its better to go with the existing corresponding bapi for this requirement.

BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA.

Hi You Can use Direct input method in LSMW for Material Master,

its very easy, you can set the flag for the views which you require.
