I am using the ABAP 7.52SP04 trial with most recent Eclipse ADT (searched for updates a minute ago).
I try to create a Knowledge Transfer Document as described here:
My problem is that "Package" shows "Loading..." and the Button "Browse" is disabled. Of course, my ADT project has a package ($TMP) and I have successfully created CDS and the like in this package that all run fine.
When hitting ENTER or clicking "Finish" I get an error:
I have tried different packages and objects, started via right click and "New..." and am now clueless.
Does anyone have any idea?
Many thanks in advance, Harry.

Hi!
I think this is cloud environment only. The documentation link you posted also specifies cloud...
The image of the error you posted went missing, but if it was something like "A request to the ABAP back-end could not be processed, because your client installation of ABAP Development Tools is out of date", then it's the same I got when trying on my newer trial system. Not sure if something can be installed in the backend for this...
And works fine when I tried it against my cloud trial.

Thank you for the quick reply!
When searching SAP Help for "Knowledge Transfer Document" it also always points out that it is Cloud Platform. Also in the title. Only the behavior and the error in ADT is a bit misleading.
So maybe this also helps other users of ABAP 7.5 / ADT.
