Entry into table

Hi all,

When I have tried to enter data into a table I have created via se16,it asks me to enter a request number. But I do not know to enter any request, just want to enter data, it will be used at productive system too.

What is the problem?

is that table is customising table (ie check thru SE11> display> go to delivery & maintenance tab--> delivery class = "C" ) then it will ask for transport request.

Are you trying to maintain data via SM30 transaction???? Did u create a table maintainence generator for it???

You can use table maintenance generator to enter data provided the table is set up to take values using table generator.

If you have created a table maintainence generator ... Modify the table maintainence generator by choosing Option 'no,or user, recording routine' instead of 'Standard recording routine'.

Hi ,

Please check in the table maitenance generator under the "Dialog data transport detail " which recording routine radio button is selected. make sure you select no or user recording routine .
