Alongside the checks in the standard system when you enter invoices in Logistics Invoice Verification, you can use this Business Add-In MRM_HEADER_CHECK to perform your own customer-specific checks of header and item data from an invoice document.
In what business and technical context is the BAdI?
You can use this Business Add-In to check the header data of an incoming invoice according to your own specific criteria. Depending on the results of these checks the system can, for example, issue an error message or call up other transactions.
When is the BAdI called?
The call is realized using the PAI module HEADERDATA_CHECK in the flow logic of screen 6000 in program SAPLMR1M. This module contains the call for the auxiliary function module MRMBADI_HEADER_CHECK, that in turn contains the call for the Business Add-In MRM_HEADER_CHECK.
What influence does the BAdI have on the application?
The header data is made available to the Business Add-In. You can also transfer item data that is known at the time of the call. Note, that when you use this Business Add-In, you do not change the data, you only check it. In other words, the Business Add-In receives the data, but does not transfer any data back to the application.
