Enhancement Basics

Hi everybody,

I don't have a lot of implementation user exits. As my knowledge, I know the basic steps would be :

1. Find the appropriate Enhancement.

2. Enter the ABAP code in the "Z" program within the function module.

3. Create a project.

4. Add the Enhancement to the project.

5. Activate the project.

At the step (2), when I double click on the Include ZX* within source code of the function module to realize the exit, the system would prompt to create the include. But NO, it always prompt that the name of include is reserved by SAP and I cannot create it... I entered an access key for the object ...

Do you know what step did I miss ? How can I create/implement that include ?

Thanks a lot for your quick reponses!

Hi,

After system responds with "the name of include is reserved by SAP"

press Enter button one more time. Include will be created.

Cheers,

Chaitanya.

You have one icon on the application tool bar whick look like Musquito coil . just click on that then select the following path.

Edit->Enahncement operations->Show Implicit Enhancements

Now you can create enhancement points where you can see the lines ( lines shown with commas or some colors)

Reward points if useful

HI,

SOME OF THE SAP BADIS ARE MEANT ONLY FOR SAP INTERNAL USE. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CREATE IMPLEMENTATIONS FOR THOSE. BUT YOU CAN DO IT WITH OTHER BADIS ANYWAY.
