Enhanced Segment is missing from Delvry03

Hi,

I have created one ZXY extenstion for basic type DELVRY03.

It's an outbound Idoc. I have added a segment Z1 below E1EDL20 node.

The exit which I am using to populate Z1 segment is EXIT_SAPLV56K_002.

Partner profile configured as given below.

Part type - KU - customer

Part. role - SH

Message type DESADV

Application V2

Process Code - DELV.

Rest eveything like RFC port, destination, set release for enhanced idoc, segment set release is configured.

After creating extenstion to DELVRY03 I have assigned the same to ZXY using UTILITIES->ENHANCEMENT->ASSIGN BASIC TYPES. (Transaction WE30).

In WE19 where I am filling the ZXY extention manually and execute it as standard outbound process, record is getting saved in EDID4 table with Z1 segment details.

But the same when I am executing using Transaction VL01N, VL02N;

I am not able to find my Z1 segment in the exit EXIT_SAPLV56K_002.

In this exit segment will get filled one by one.

Whereas in the same exit I am able to see my Z1 in an active stage in TAB_IDOC_REDUCTION import parameter of exit.

But it won't appear in IDOC_DATA.

Anybody has any idea about this ?

Hi,

On the outbound partner profile, under "Outbound Options" have you maintained the extension name?

Also, make sure that the field "CIMTYP" on the control record is filled with the extension's name.

Regards,

Chen

In outbound option I have maintained

Basic Type - DELVRY03

and Extension - ZXY

Further more

in the Next tab ->MEssage Control

I have assigned Application V2 , Mssage Type - ZU(Maintained in NACE), Process code DELV.

But still that structure won't appear in Idoc_data table.

Currently What I am doing in is inserting ZXY below segment E1EDL20 manually.

Is this the right way, I am not sure.

Is this the case with every outbound Idoc that segment wont appear in idoc_data table ?

Any help ...

Yes,

You need to manually insert the segment into IDOC_DATA, the Z segment should have a record in EDID4.

Check the below points while debugging,

1) Check if CONTROL_RECORD_OUT-CIMTYP has "ZXY" or whatever is the name of the extension.

2) Are you inserting the Z segment at the correct position in IDOC_DATA, and is your INSERT statement returning a SUBRC value of 0.

Yes I am inserting it at correct level.

Idoc is getting generated.

I can see the values in WE02

and table EDID4 also.
