Enabling log data changes for PA tables

Hi Team,

In SE11, i have checked "Log data changes" under technical settings for some tables which went fine.

Similarly i am trying to do the same for PA**** tables (HR Infotype tables) but throws an error "Technical setting table PA0055 already locked or no authorisation".

For instance PA**** is PA0000,PA0002......etc

Could any one help me out how to enable the option in all these tables.

Best Regards

Venkat

Hi !,

When you get the message, please type /nsu53 on SAP Command Field. You will get a screen which lists the missing authorization.Send this screen shot to BASIS guys. they will give you the missing authorizations(if any).

However, please note that Logging only takes place if parameter rec/client in the system profile is set correctly. Setting the flag on its own does not cause the table changes to be logged.

Regards,

Firoz.

Hi,

This has to be done by the BASIS people. They have to set the parameter rec/client set in the system profile.
