Enable HR Data for change pointers

Hello Experts

The HR data on our system is not enabled for change documents , precicely , when i look at a data element of HR data for EX: table PA0002 the change document flag is not ticked. hence this data is not enabled for change pointers , How can i get all of this data to be enabled for change documents? I am sure I don't have to enable this flag on each and every data elment of the HR master data. There must be some way of mass enabling the whole HR data . Any thoughts on this

thanks

Sudheer

Hi Sourav

In my casr it turned out that there was an user exit written which only sends idocs for a particular company code. So i was not able to see any idocs produced unless i chnaged some HR data from that company code. Other than that the whole setup is very normal just as any other Data.

Cheers

You cannot choose a special infotype for chanhge pointers. check the idoc hrmd_a and see which one of the types fulfills your needs. The most popular is the hrmd_a05.

Goto transaction SALE/Modelling/MasterData/Replication

and activate the change pointers in general.

Then goto TA BD50 and activate the change pointers for the message type you want.
