Hi Guys,

I would like to know how we can embed excel in sap GUI . Just like ms word can be opened in an internet explorer , excel will be opening in the SAP GUI when an ALV output is displayed.

This is available in ALV Grid - just go to the View tab in the Change Layout popup and select excel from the drop down.

for custom ALV Grid reports, you can probable set this as the default start view.

Thats perfect. But when i have tried with what you have said i find my data which is being displayed as a grid , is not reflected in the excel format.
