Dear all,
I use the above FM to send emails. We have two reports, first - used to upload the users into the system, second - used to check if the first report is success or not. If the first report is failed, the second report will send email to the person who scheduled the job.
So I developed a report to send the email - it is running fine when I execute in foreground and I am receiving the emails. But when I schedule this job in SM36, i am not recieving any emails.
Please let me know if any any specific configuration needs to be done to the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1, so that I can get the emails if I schedule the jobs via SM36.
Thanks in advance.
Vijay

Hi Vijay,
Please check if your mail item is found in SOST (after the background program completes).
Normally after mails are generated by the function, they sit in queue (visible in SOST) and can either be manually "pushed out" or are automatically pushed out via scheduled job for program RSCONN01.
Regards,
Aditya

Hi,
Execute SCOT tcode your mails may be in waiting status there.
you have to schedule RSCONN01 program for every 10 or 5 min in back ground to resolve the issue.

Hi All,
Thanks for your reply..But still after calling the report RSCONN01, I am not getting any mails if I schedule the report in SM36.
But if I execute it as a normal report, i am receiving the mails successfully.
Please let me know if any configurations are to be done for sending mails through background mode.
Regards,
Vijay
