email option for customer statement for sap script

Hi guys,

I have modified the standard print program RFKORD11 and standard layout as per my requirement.

This is for FI module.'CUSTOMER STATEMENT'.

Correspondance type is created and configured.

My form is printing nicely.

But i also need to send an email to the customer.

All the required code is written in print program RFKORD11(print,fax and amail).

I am using sap 5.0 version.

I feel code is not required and just configuration is required.

Could any of you help me where(Transaction code to configure correspondance type for Customer statement?

To send external mails, configuartaion is also done at SCOT.

(Similar problem for Dunnnin as well).

Any body, who has already done the customer statement, please help me in this regard.

I Think RFKORD11 is a stand alone program and not attached to any trasnaction.

It alos looks like it is specific to only printing.

YOu need to go for coding.

YOu can use the function SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send mails.

Assign a custom function module to BTE 2310 in the BTE config transaction FIBF.

change C_FINAA-NACHA value to I for e-mail in the custom FM

Refer to FMs SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00002310 and SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002310 for the custom FM interface.

Your answers seems inetresting.

One of my friend also sugested similar information OSS NOTE 328124.

It says as follows.

But i fee this OSS note applies for olderversion and not for 5.0 version.

You have sugested

OSS NOTE 328124.

Dunning notices are to be issued via fax or e-mail.

Prior to Release 4.0: use user exit '001' from SAPF150D.

As of Release 4.0: use the Open FI Event 1040 of function module PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE.

The sample module is FI_OPT_ARCHIVE_DUNNING_NOTICE

(in Release 4.0B, only copy module OPEN_FI_PERFORM_00001040_P for the interface, the source code is not an example in this case).

Copy and change this module and register your module in Transaction FIBF via 'Settings -> Process function modules of a customer' for Event 00001040 with the application indicator (as a rule FI-FI, in table MHNK-APPLIK).

The related 'Product of a customer' must be set up and activated.

The exit is accessed for every dunning notice, and the transferred data in the exit can be used to decide how the dunning notice will be sent. The exit has to set field C_FINAA-NACHA as follows:

C_FINAA-NACHA = '1'. " Print

C_FINAA-NACHA = '2'. " FAX

C_FINAA-NACHA = 'I'. " Internet

You can make this assignment accordingly directly at the beginning of the function module.

Fill fields C_FINAA-TDTELENUM and C_FINAA-TDTELELAND with the number of the fax recipient or fill field C_FINAA-INTAD with the Internet address.

It can be transferred from fields KNA1-LAND1 and KNA1-TELFX, or also from KNB1-TLFXS.

BTE 2310 works for 5.0 too.., if u search RFKORD11, for string 2310, u'll find it's calling BTE 2310.

Oss note 328124 says beyond 4.0 use BTE not user exit. I think it includes 5.0 too.

Search oss for BTE 2310 u'll find more info.
