Hello Eclipse Team,
to increase the pressure a bit : are there any news regarding the possibility to edit ex- and implicit enhancements in Eclipse?
(Sorry, forgot to ask this question this Saturday)
Cheers

Hi Uwe,
editing of enhancements in eclipse is currently not in our focus.
Our recommendation is to use badis when ever possible or to extract most of the enhancement code in customer owned objects.
Regards,
Thomas.

Hi Thomas,
not the answer I hoped for, but I think, we have to deal with it (albeit it will be hard to explain to our customers).

Is there a version of ABAP in Eclipse that doesn't launch the SAP GUI for create/maintaining/displaying BADI implementations, if you aren't going to support the implicit enhancements?
If AIE is supposed to replace SAP GUI ABAP based development tools and ERP has full maintenance support until 2025, does this mean you are expecting SAP Customers to use SAP GUI until 2025 now for development work since the tool won't support everything typically done in a ERP system by customers??? .
Take care,
Stephen
