Edit SAP standard object with ABAP in Eclipse

Hi,

When I try to edit a SAP standard object (modification) in Eclipse I get the following error message:

"The editor does not support objects having modification assistant on"

I can disable the modification assistant in SE24/SE80, but this is only for that session and when I go back to Eclipse the same error occurs.

I don't know if this is a bug or work in progress.

Best regards,

Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,

it's not supported to modify non-customer objects using ABAP development tools in Eclipse, currently. The error message is a little bit misleading.

Hopefully, we can remove this limitation in a future release.

Thanks for your feedback,

Michael
