EDI Inbound Idoc problem

Hi,

We are facing an issue with Inbound IDoc.

We have a PO inbound idoc which is in status '53' but the PO document did not get created.

Can you please help us if anyone faced similar issue.

Hello,

sounds strange.

1. check the status record of 53 Idocs you should find a message like: Standard oder nnnnnnnnnn has been saved.

2. If order number nnnnnnnnnnn does not exists check transaction SM13, ST22 for errors.

3. for testing change inbound options in WE20 to <trigger by background programm> and book the idoc in forground.

what is the status message on the 53 Status idoc...

53 - Apllication document posted.

When i check the status message in WE02, it says extension does not exists.

But when i check the other idoc ( which has the same issue) , status message in WE02 says "***** Messages for input and outbound processing *****"

message type is ORDERS

HI,

Take the IDOc number and use the WE19 testing tool and try to debug it by giving the Function module , WE19 will create the another idoc number.

i tried WE19 and it created new idoc.. but the problem remains the same... Status is 53 but document is not posted.

check in the FM for call transaction and look for weather is it creation correctly or not in debug....

Hi,

Please note:

if you create an ORDERS Idoc from a PO than you we have to expect a sales order on the other side.

Check your process code in inbound partner profile. It should be ORDE.

We are not using a standard process code.

It was working fine previously but all of a sudden documents are not getting posted

Hi,

We are using a custom Function module which is a copy of 'IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS'.

This function module processes using workflow. can there be any problem in this workflow. please give us any inputs regarding this and how to check.

do you try to create a Purchase Order (MM side) or SalesOrder (SD side) ?

im not sure that the IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS is correct for using PurchaseOrder creation.

What about the "extension error" ?

Hi Gordon,

We are gettin message as '***** Messages for input and outbound processing *****'.

Status is 53.

Idoc has data records.

i have reprocessed the idocs aswell but of no use.

Its a MM purchase order.

Inbound idoc is coming from SAP system to another SAP system.
