ECC release question

Hello,

I have a quick question.

I wanted to check my systems version and i had trouble undeerstanding.if someone can please tell me what it is.

I go to Sytem>Status> SAP ECC 6.0> Release 7 and Level 0014 for the most part.Can someone plase explain me which is the version and which is the enhancement pack and whats the diffrence between the two and a service pack.

Hello,

Support packs are basically is a collection of corrections, modification and enhancement in SAP standard objects. realeased by SAP.

With each new support packs, there might be some new functionality introduced by SAP. The basis team will apply the notes as and when required.

Enhancement Pack 1 is simply another SP level, so it is the same as doing a regular SP upgrade

Hi Nikhil.

Thanks for that answer, but i would also like to know what is ECC 6, Release 7 and Level 0014.I know ECC 6 is the ecc version, what is release 7(is it the latest) what is level 0014 ( is it the enhancement pack).We just finished an upgrade, so is it level 0014 that its upgraded to or to release 7?
