Hi Gurus

Can someone explain me in detail how security works for EBP3.0. Is it same as R/3 Security? Are there any specific authorization objects for EBP?

EBP security not entirely same as R/3. You have org structures and portal to deal with. I would say that role development is mostly same as R/3. But the user administrion is diffesrent than R/3. It is certainly not possible to explain EBP security in few lines. If you encounter any problems then we can look into it.

from a security point of view EBP relies on the framework, thus if you have a look at the securtiy guides for the relevant releases for ERP and Portal, you should be fine (and have more than enough to read ;-).
