Hello Abapers,

I am facing an issue in displaying the EAN-13 bar code for purchase order no. in my SAP Script.

I have created a ZEAN13 barcode using Old Technology and assigned to character format.

ZEAN13 Bar code:

Character Format:

I am assigning the E3 char format to the field

F7 <E3>&field_po&</>

F7 0400850100019

I am getting the output like below bar code which has similar lines and unable to scan

But, the below is the display of actual requirement with scan-able lines.

Kindly help me to solve this issue.

Thanks,

Suhale Kiff

Did you actually print this out, or is your output just a screen preview. The screen preview usually looks just like what you posted.

Ok, you have me confused even more, initially you said

I am getting the output like below bar code which has similar lines and unable to scan

...and gave us your img1.jpg which does show the fake barcode. Now you say

During actual printing the PO# just showed number

Can you please clarify? When do you see the img1.jpg and does "just showed number" mean that no barcode printed at all?

The img1.jpg, is extracted from print preview

When we take a print out the end user said there is no barcode but only numbers available.

Hope you are clear now.

Raghu, is there any symbology in New technology which is equivalent to EAN13.??

Thanks!
