dynamic icon on screen

Hi members,

is there any option in screen painter through which we can display icon dynamically on a screen?

Hi,

There is no such option in screen painter,

But in the PBO of the screen, You can code it to appear or make it invisible..using

LOOP at SCREEN.

if screen-name = ... "Screen field name- icon in your case.

SCREEN-INVISIBLE = 1. (set to 0 for visible)

MODIFY SCREEN.

endif.

ENDLOOP.

Hi Subhendu

There are 2 ways to do creating dynamic icons

one is like this

1.You can create icons dynamically you can use "ICON_CREATE" fm

2.you can go for layout say field (pushbutton ,input,button)

any field in screen select as a output field with icon(check box).

move the data accordingly with you icon.

say

in pbo

module screen_icon_change

module screen_icon_change.

data:screen field type c(20).

data:icon1 type icon-id.

data:icon2 type icon-id.

if flag = 'X'.

CONCATENATE TEXT-000 ICON1 into screen field.

else.

CONCATENATE TEXT-000 ICON2 into screen field.

endif.

like that you can do it
