a dump occurrs in our R/3 Production System:

SYSTEM_CORE_DUMPED

An SAP System process was terminated by an operating system signal.

Possible reasons for this are:

1. Internal SAP System error.

2. Process was terminated externally (by the system administrator).

Hi,

to analyze this, can you go the <b>SM50</b> of the server sapgrp5_PR5_00 and take a look in the file for the workprocess (in this case the wp 7).

Just mark the workprocess with the No. 7 and press <b>CtrlShiftF8</b>.

There might be an information for the reason.

Have a word with your BASIS team, did someone manually kill the process on the operating system?
