Drop down in BDC...

Hello gurus,

I am having issue when doing BDC for a Transaction , where at one field there is drop down where i need to select some string value like some name and it is saving in numbers in table. Now how to pass value to that field, when i used to pass the number it is not assigning, please help me friends.

Hi,

What field it is?

You may find some conversion routine for that field, and you have to convert that number[you are passing- you have in file] to the string value before passing its value to BDC recording.
