doubt in smartforms

hi experts

I want to create a horizantal single ( ___________ like this )line in output ( not a under line ). How to make this?

I want to display a square box in my print out how to do that?

Point will be sure.

Hi,

To draw horizontal lines in smartforms

(1) Select the Line Type for which the horizontal lines are need to be drawn.

(2) Select the option "Select Pattern" which is just below the Table Tab & choose the desired pattern.

Hi,

For horizontal line, try using minus sign or underscore continuosly in text element.For square box, try using [ and ] continuously in text element.

create a variable with char type( _ ) and length as desired for line.

U can try the same for drawing a box.

Hi Gowri,

For a horizontal line give Underscore in the text element.

and you want to display a box in that case if the version is 4.6c then click the checkbox line in output options tab and give 15 tw.

if its a higher version then select the tab with box in output options tab and again give 15 tw.box will be created.

once go through the thread u will get to k now differnt ways

Change the editor to 'PC Editor' and take the menu.

in text editor of TEXT ELEMENTS..

Insert -> Characters -> SAP Symbols

in print preview u can't see these changes..
