Doubt in custom infotype

Hi,

i have created one custom infotype.. when we want to see the records created for a standard infotype, in PA30 transaction, if we click 'OVERVIEW' button for a personnel no and infotype, it will display all the records created i.e it gives a list..

For the custom infotype i have created, 'OVERVIEW' button is not working.. records are getting displayed only if we gives the period..

is that the 'overview' button works only for the standard infotypes?

pls suggest if i'm wrong

Ovreview function should behave the same way for both Custom & Std Infotypes.. pl verify the entry in V_T588M for the custom Infotype..

i have entered the details in technical and infotype characeristics in pm01 while creating a custom info type..

I checked in V_T588m .. the entry for the custom infotype is not there.. do i need to create an entry?

Hi mahesh,

1. Ideally it does not happen like this.

2. If u have not made any modifications to your

infotype, u can re-generate the infotype

screens again, and test.
