Only data refresh and not system refresh?
Then it should not matter..but I would suggest to back up anyways...:) you never know what might happen sometimes...

Hi,
I believe data refresh will not overwirte the code..
But anyway it is better to take a backup of your code and store in a local file..
Thanks,

yes, it is not system refresh and its only a data refresh.
does this also mean, that the T-code's i have created, for my reports will be lost?
thank you

Nothing will happen. My company does data refresh almost once a month. I dint face any problems.
However is it the testing system or the DEV system.
IF its the testing system you might have to import the transports again but that would be taken care by the BASIS team.

But if its the DEvelopment system I would suggest to keep a backup of everything.

Hi,
thanks for the information. The programs are deleted, and i have a backup of the programs.
But i have heard, that we can retrieve programs which have been moved to QA (and are not in Production) in a convenient method.
And Also, I have some programs which i have released from Development system and are not in QA.
Can anyone give me any idea or blog or something on this process.
Thanks
