Displaying Long Text

Hi All,

We are displaying the Long Text in an ALV Grid. But when the long text is 200 to 500 lines, it is difficult to view the complete text in a single row. Please let me know if anyone has ever displayed the long text of around 2 pages in any report program.

The basic requirement is to display the Inspection long text the way it appears in print preview or something close to that.

Any pointers would be of great help.

break them into No.of lines.

otherwise create a normal list where u can display easly.

i dont think u can display the long text in a report output.

but it can be done this way

1. create a new field of type button in the report output.

2. on clicking the button display the related Long text

using the read_text function module.
