Hi Praveen,

ECC 6.0 means it is an latest version of SAP ERP package (ERP Central components). it will support for netweaver and BW.

hi praveen R/3 MEANS real time three tire architecture...and sap is presently running with R/3 structure PRESENTATION LAYER application layer databaselayer so before this it is R/2 ,R...like this..

SO FINALLY....what i mean to say is r/2 is diff and ecc is diff...like 4.6 b,4.7c , 5.0 ecc , 6.0 ecc versions..names..ok..that is.

dont forgot to avoid points if usefull
