Difference between VPSTA and PSTAT.

I am confused about the difference between VPSTA and PSTAT fields in MARA.

I know PSTAT can be used to find the existing views for a material. What's VPSTA used for ?

Welcome to SDN,

PSTAT is views for material.

VPSTA is views for complete material.

You can check the values & their descriptions from the table T133A.

PSTAT maintains views for Material Maintenance status

But VPSTA has 2 extra views maintained - Plant Stock view and Storage Locations Stock view - these 2 views are maintained by SAP.
