Difference between Reverse & Resetting Reverse doc

Hi,,

What is the actual difference between Reverse and Resetting Reverse document ? And how cleared items will be reversed ?

Kindly give me urgent solution.

Hi

Reversing is done just to reverse the document using FB08, and if u want to reset the reverse document u should use FBRA, which resets the cleared document.

Hi Divya,

I am not getting the clear idea, FB08 is the only for Reversing document, but FBRA there are two options are Revere and Resetting Reverse. If I use Resetting and Reverse through FBRA what will be its position ? In our compnay one item is cleared wrongly which I will have to reverse. But if I reverse the clered item will it go back to as open item. While I am going through FBRA for Resetting and Revere, message shows "Document is cleared already". Even FB08 same message is showing. How cleard item will be Reversed ?

Kindly guide me the scenario how it will be handled.

· Resetting clearing

If open items were cleared accidentally with a payment, you can reset clearing.

· Reversing a document

When you reverse a clearing document, all items that were cleared by the clearing document become open items again.
