Difference between FD01 AND FD02 ?

Hi,

these two tcodes comes under Customer management

FD01->Create Customer (Accounting),

FD02->Change Customer (Accounting),

Customer

XD01 Create Customer (Centrally)

XD02 Change Customer (Centrally)

XD03 Display Customer (Centrally)

IN XD01 u can find sales area and customer sales area but in FD01 u won't find...FD01 is related to finance (FI views)for that customer where as XD01 is global(all views)..

Hi,

Centraly means Global Information of customers (All Views).

Accounting is only related to fico only (Only FICO Views).

Hi,

with XD01 you can create customer master record for General data, sales area data, and company code date, with VD01 its isonly general and sales area data which is related to sales point of view, but FD01 is used for financial i.e for creation of general data and financial data. To create create complete master record use XD01.

good

vd01; used for sales and distribution related master records.

xd01: used for accounting related and over all master data related maintainance .

Its better u use xd01 TCODE if ur maintaning accounts related settings also.
