difference b/w ECC6.0 version to 4.7e version

Now iam in upgradation Project. i.e.4.7e to ECC6.0 version. What are the major difference between those versions.

Pls answer this question.

This question has been asked before in the past. And it has not been asked once or twice but is one of the questions that is asked every second day or so. People don't like to spend time to answer questions if the poster does not like to spend time searching before he asks.

A second point I would like to add:

The term 'upgradation' seems to be used in indian english only. SAP's documentation is written in american english (sometimes you can notice some german influence). If you search the SDN or other parts of the web I would recommend using the term 'upgrade'.
