Diff b/w Conversion and Interface Program

Main Difference b/w Conversion and Interface Program?when we say Conversion program and when we say Interface program?

Conversion prg will do one way communciation but Interface will have two way communication

Interface programs are used to commnicate with other systems or used to generate the file and send to application or used for updating data from file on daily or weekly base. Depends on requirement.

Conversion means converting data into different format and update or send it accordingly.
