Can we directly update standard tables in dialog programming?

Please don't do it - unless you 100% understand the relationships between all the SAP data stores you are likely end up in trouble... much better to use the appropriate function modules or BDC / Call Transaction techniques to achieve your goals.

Hi Vibhuti,

SAP doesnt recommend to update Standard SAP tables directly.

Please look out for FM or BAPI to update the same.

You can call FM or BAPI inside your dialog program.

Hi Vibhuti,

Its not a good practice to update the Std Dbase table directly in any programming.Its better to use BDC/Released "FM/BAPI" for the same...

By the way,which table/field is it??...
