Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to add parameter field in alphanumeric mode in screen painter.

Hi

In alphanumeric mode, you use your keyboard and menus. In the menus u must be having text boxes for fields, add that for parameters and you can give the conditions there in the window which pops up on the right side.

This is because of two reasons.

1. May be you are lower SAP GUI

try to install latest SAP GUI or apply the patches

2. This is the first time you are accessing the SE51 from the SAP system(where you got the alpha numeric editor).

if that is the case you report to BASIS they will apply some server side patches to overcome the issue.

if you are using the SE51 in the system for long time, now all of a sudden you got this error then Uninstall the SAP GUI and reinstall the Latest GUI.
