hi folks

iam working on dialog program. while trying use the graphical editot to use the layout it is giving an error

"Graphical Layout Editor not available. Continue with alphanumeric editor

- Your frontend operating system does not support the graphical layout editor. It is supported on the following platforms

Windows NT

Windows 95

Windows 98.

but iam working on windows xp only

sap vertion: 4.6c.

could please suggest me?

Windows 95? Sounds like you are using an older version of SAPGUI what release do you have?

Hi Rob,

iam working on xp only, i guess due to windows XP , system was unable to open Gaphical Screen Painter?

as for the error message it supported on the following platforms

Windows NT

Windows 95

Windows 98

please suggest me?

Probably because the version for SAPGUI you are using doesn't support the graphical screen painter. If it is an old version, cosider upgrading.
