Hi Experts,
Development objects in R/3 dev server are saving automatically with out asking any package and TR .
May be the development objects are saving in local package.
How can we check in which package the objects are saving
Please guide me how to solve this issue.
Thanks&Regards,
narasimha.

Howdy,
You can check the package assigned to objects by looking at the Object Directory Entry in the Goto menu of, for example, SE11 and SE24.
As for why your system is not checking for a transport, please check or ask Basis to check t-code SCC4 and ensure that the client role is correct and Automatic recording of changes is selected.

Hi Alex,
I have checked the client details in SCC4 where the settings are same as you said.I dont think the error is in client settings because the other consultants are able to save the changes.

Hi Narsimha,
To check the package, follow the menu path Goto-->Object Directory Entry. Then you can see in which package this got stored.

Howdy,
These aren't development objects and don't get assigned to a Package - to transport these objects go to SQ02 or SQ03, and use menu Environment -> Transports.
You can then export your groups, infosets and queries to a transport.

Actually my statement was wrong - infosets etc in the global query area do get assigned to a package.
So when you go to SE93 and look at your t-code and use Goto -> Object directory entry, which package is getting assigned?
$TMP or some other?

Narshima,
Did you check it in Object Directory Entry ? Which package is it getting stored. If you want to assign a package you can make changes there and it will ask for request no.
Secondly this is the first time you are facing this. Check with basis people why it is behaving in such a way. May be some roles would be missing.

Howdy,
In that case check the Object Directory Entry to ensure that the objects are going to the correct package - you can also check Version Management to see which transport the objects are getting saved to.
if the objects are already locked on a transport, when you make changes it won't ask for a new transport.
Also try creating a new object and see if you get prompted for a transport then.
Cheers
