Development class ...

hi i am using a development class in my table maintainence generator

as we need to give dev class there

this dev class is in prd already i have created a request for table maintaince and in table maintaince generator i have give the dev class as zsd

the problem is that this dev class is also being used by some other user id i checked it and the dev class is shown under some otehr person

so if i release my request will it be a problem......i

or should i own the dev class request from the other person and take it on my name?

Hi Arora,

There will be no problem if you release the TR.

No need to worry about the development class as it is nothing but just the logical grouping of the transportable objects.

so if its a logical grouping so my new objects are under it

like the table maintainece generater requests and my change requests etc are under the dev class

pls confirm if i can release it and there will not be a problem...

Yes you can go ahead and release it and just give the TR number to your basis so that they can import it.

Hi Arora,

There is no need to worry about dev class.It is only required to transport it to the other system. If it exist in PRD then just assign a TR number to your changes and do not worry about DEv class.
