Develop QR code in ABAP

I need to generate QR code into SAP based on name and mobile number and print the same via smart form,I tried searching all the threads but not getting any solution.Kernel Release is 745.We are not planning to use any external API like Google Chart API

Unless you use some kind of third party tool, I think your only approach is to find and implement the algorithm yourself. A third party tool would probably by cheaper and quicker.

I referred to that thread you mentioned and they have implemented SAP Note 2029824.I cannot implement this note because our Kernel Version is 745 already .Please suggest if you have any other way OR SAP note to enable QR Code into barcodes.

As you can see in the blog post, the QR code is supported by the Smart Forms.

Yes you are Right the QR codes is supported by smart forms and I also have similar requirment to print it in smartform,but my question is what steps I need to follow to generate QR code in SAP ?

Same as for any other symbology of barcode. If that's the question, how to print barcode with Smart Forms, then it's very basic and the answer is in internet.

Sorry, I don't. A QR code is handled like a barcode. What is the difficulty then to do as usual?

I believe what he is saying is to give him a step-by-step guide to do it. You have MORE than sufficiently answered his original question....now he just needs someone to do his work for him and viola...done! 😃
