Description of data element.

Hi all,

I want the description of the data element on the postion of the data element in selection screen .

eq. sales organization on position of vkorg.

If the text pool currently loaded does not contain a selection text for the parameter, the output field displays the corresponding field label from the ABAP Dictionary.

Hi,

To get description of data element is selection screen you have to maintain the text element for this field.

For this click on Goto->Text Symbaols->Selection Texts. Here you can select the dictionary reference option, which will take the description from the data element or maintain the description of the field manually.

Goto -> Text Elements -> Selection Texts. : Check the Checkbox for "Dictionary reference" for the record of s_vkorg.

Hi,

Do u mean the Selection screen of SE11

U can display the Description in the menu Settings -

> User Parameters select the Radio button Field label and say enter.

If in the Selection screen of Ur report

in the Se38 changes mode

menu GO To -

---

> text Elements -

---

> Selection texts and check the check Box Dictionary(Save and Activate ur Text Elements)

select-options means display the input values on ranges.

ranges means from to to values.
