Delivery - Idoc

Hello Friends,

I have a issue need help.

In my case an Inbound SHPCON idoc will come in and create a Outbound delivery for Sales Order. I can see the SHPCON idoc is successfully posted and delivery is created.

When I go to that particular delivery display using VL03N transaction code, and select Services for the Object Button and Select Display Relationships, it should show me idoc number. But in my case

Display Relationships button is disabled. I need to enable to the button and view the Relationship (link) to the idoc.

Where as if I go ME23N transaction and select Services Icon, there I can see the Relationship Button is enabled, Where as Relationship Button is disabled in VL03N Tcode. I need to enable in VL03N tcode so that I can see the link to the idoc which has created the delivery.

Please help, your answers are highly appreciated and rewarded.

Hi sreelakshmi,

the Display Relationships button is disabled because no relationships have been established. This may be the responsibility of the inbound processing function module. Not all SAP standard modules do this properly: relations are stored in special relationships tables...

I need to establish the Relationship Link to the idoc in my case. So please can any one advise necessary steps or Procedure to enable the Relationship Link button in VL03N screen.

Hi Sree,

If you go to Delivery document (VL03N) - Enter the delivery document number and Go to Extras -> Delivery Output -> Header -> And click on processing Log you can see the related document.

Please try and confirm the same.

Hi DJ,

My requirement is when I Select Services for the Objects button on VL03n , a popup screen will show up. In that screen I need to enable the Relationship Button. Currently for me now the RElationship Button is disabled. My task is to enable RElationship button and see the link to idoc hich has created a delivery.

When I go to Extras-Delivery Output- Header in Vl03n screen , it is taking me to messages screen. my Output screen is empty, so inturn processing log is empty. It is incoming idoc which will create delivery

Please provide me some ideas to enable Relationship Button in Services for the Objects and I can link to the incoming idoc.

Hello community!

I am facing a similar Issue. I have inbound Idoc which is creating an inbound delivery. Under the Service objects button>relations, I am able to see the Inbound IDoc Number correctly. Out of this inbound delivery we are sending a confirmation to the supplier, so Outbound Idoc with a message output. I would like to see also this outgoing IDOC under the service objects>relations!

Can anybody tell me what I need to do, so that the outbound Idoc number is also show in the relations screen ?
