DELIMIT FUNCTION IN BAPI

Hi,

I am new to BAPI , can any one tell how to work with delimit function.

eg: BAPI_EMPLCOMM_DELIMIT.

what are the inputs for this function ??

if i am trying to delimit a record , its throwing an error message NO DATA STORED IN SELECTED PERIOD

check the where-used list of the bapi you may get some idea
